Missons
This page contains
Missions and campaigns. Unless otherwise noted, these missions DO
NOT work with THE PACK, and will in fact only work with a
stock TA/CC (or possibly Bugfix) install. In certain cases additional
Cavedog units may be required. All these maps can also be used for
Skirmish or Multiplayer games
Regarding features, if noted, some of these maps/missions may require
TA_Features_2010.ccx (download
here). If required, it is noted in the designer notes section
for each map. Newest maps/Missions are at the top of the page.

Notes: This is
a combination mission and multiplayer/skirmish map. The mission
appears under Arm missions and is entitled "Confluence". It a
slower-paced and longer battle than some of Mufdvr;s other missions.
The map also supports up to 8 players in multiplayeer or skirmish mode,
with the first four player positions
in the outer corners. The outer seas are deep, and the rivers at the
"confluence" are shallow and passable by both land units and smaller
ships.
The map requires TA_Features_2009 to load correctly
Tools Used: Annihilator 1.6, TAE

Notes: I had talked
with Mufdvr some time ago about creating a mission
for this map. And he has crafted a tough one. Victory conditions
require that you destroy the Arm commander
and all Arm vulcans on the map. The fact that the Vulcan's exist at all
should tell you quite about
how tough this is.
Requires Tamec2004 and tak2004 to run
Tools Used: TAE, HPIView and HPIPack, Notepad

Notes: This is, as
far as I know, the first "mission" map made by Mufdvr. It uses C_A_P's
Quagmire Jngle tileset, and is one of a small handful of maps to do so.
This map has long been one of my favorites... zzyzy and I have had many
1 vs 1 battles on this map, and indeed probably more beta-testing in
multiplayer was done on this single map than almost any other. The map
also includes a single player mission, a pure bonus.
The map is a hoot to play in mutliplayer, and the mission makes it a
must-have! Grab it!

by Firehawk, updated to add a krogoth-happy mission concept by Mufdvr
Unzip the .ufo to your TA directory and go to the mission battle room
and look in Arm Campaigns - Krogoth Testing Range V2, select Hard.
This is a spoof mission,, and almost, "but not completely" unwinnable.
Basically the player starts at the north end of the map with a full
suit af resources at their disposal ie: metal and energy and
construction units but no attacking units. You will have about twenty
minutes to get some sort of defensive atrategy sorted before the first
wave of Krogoths arrive, after this all hell will break loose. There is
only one difficulty for this mission, Hard.
No additional feature files or unit files required

Notes: Original map
by Cavedog, updated to add a nuke-crazed mission concept by Mufdvr
This mission is stand alone, (all files included in the .ufo) just
unzip to your TA directory. In game; go to the missions battle room and
look under Arm Campaigns- The Cold Place. Three difficulties easy -
medium - hard are scripted.
Like most of Mufdvr's missions The hard difficulty is extremely
difficult to win, but is winnable all the same, you will find your base
under attack the moment the mission loads, the AI is Muf's own custom
job "overlord" it is primarily an air ai with some ground units being
produced as well, the AI will nuke at around 40 minutes and keep nuking
until it runs out of missiles. Best gameplay advice Mufdvr gives is to
get as many anti nuke silos and hedgehogs up as you can whilst building
up large numbers of Hawkes for defence allowing the player the time to
get resources done and nukes up and running. Direct attack on the AI is
not a good idea from land sea or air, you will regret that move.

Notes: Original map
by Moho, updated to add a pair of interesting mission concepts by
Mufdvr
This mission simulates playing a human opponent in multiplayer. The
rules are as follows: no air, no nukes or BB you can't build them and
neither can the ai, it's strictly land attack through the pass. The
mission begins in mid game and is very intense. Core (or Arm) is at the
north end of the map.
Copy the .ufo to your TA directory and in the TA mission battle room
look in Arm (or Core) Campaigns - GD2 Mission.
To win this mission your Commander must walk through the pass into the
northern half of the map.
No additional feature files or unit files required

6 + Single Player Mission |

Designer
Notes: A water and
island map that uses Wotan's Zhon Tileset conversion. Map is built as a
difficult single-player mission, and also supports up to six players in
multiplayer action.
The AI is set to seabattle, and the single-player mission (which
appears under the ARM campaign section in the game screen) requires the
use of the last six Cavedog units to function correctly.
No additional feature files are required... see readme in download for
further details and credit.
Note also that this map is not intended for use with THE PACK for the
single-player mission!!! A standard TA install (v3.1) + the six last
Cavedog units is required.
